From 19 to 20 July 2025, Liuhe successfully held its 2025 Mid-Year Partners’ Conference in Ningbo. Partners from the firm’s headquarters, as well as branch offices in Ningbo, Wenzhou, Shaoxing, Huzhou, Jiaxing, Yiwu, Quzhou, and Zhoushan, gathered to review the firm’s achievements for the first half of the year and to chart its strategic direction for future growth. The conference was chaired by Mr. Zheng Jindu, Chief Partner of Liuhe.
Managing Partner Meng Derong offered data-driven insights into the firm’s operations, identifying key trends and challenges. Through vertical comparisons of Liuhe’s internal progress and horizontal benchmarking against top-performing peers, he analysed the firm’s strengths and areas for improvement, emphasising the need for strategic precision, problem-solving, and structural optimisation.
Under the themes of “Collaboration for Consensus” and “Coordination for Growth”, the partners engaged in in-depth discussions on key priorities such as talent development, market expansion, empowering young lawyers, resource integration, and enhancing overall competitiveness. The discussions showcased the professionalism, sense of responsibility, and ownership that define Liuhe’s culture.
Participants contributed forward-looking insights and practical strategies, which will serve as a strong foundation for Liuhe’s strategic planning and implementation in the months ahead.
Drawing on macroeconomic trends and the evolving legal landscape, Director Liu Ke outlined multi-faceted initiatives to drive the firm’s continued development — including deepening integration between the headquarters and branch offices, advancing talent acquisition programmes, enhancing digital and intelligent service capabilities, reforming market-oriented service models, and expanding cross-regional service networks — all aimed at building a unified, collaborative, and client-centric organisation.
Mr. Huang Weiyuan, Chair of the Supervisory Board, commended the meeting’s open and innovative approach, and emphasised that the Supervisory Board would carefully review and prioritise the recommendations raised, ensuring effective oversight and responsive follow-up actions.
In his concluding address, Chief Partner Zheng Jindu reflected on the conference theme — “Adapting to the Momentum, Advancing Together, and Opening New Horizons” — encapsulated by four guiding concepts: adapting to momentum (顺势), advancing together(同行), innovation through wisdom (智启), and opening new frontiers (新局).
He highlighted that Liuhe’s strategic direction for the remainder of 2025 will be defined by aligning with market dynamics, driving innovation, attracting and cultivating talent, and fostering collaboration and harmony — pooling collective wisdom and shared effort to harness growth opportunities and open new chapters of development.
