Liuhe Successfully Holds the Silver Economy Legal Services Development Conference

To strengthen team alignment, clarify business development goals, and further advance its Silver Economy Legal Services practice, Liuhe convened the Silver Economy Legal Services Development Conference on 11 September 2025. The meeting aimed to deepen the firm’s strategic focus in this emerging area and to enhance the quality of legal protection for the ageing population and related market participants.

The conference was chaired by Ms. Ye Weiqiong, Director of Liuhe’s Silver Economy Legal Services Centre, and attended by the Centre’s leadership team, members from both the head office and branch offices, and other relevant colleagues.

Comprehensive Review and Product Presentation

At the opening session, Mr. Lü Jilei, Deputy Director of the Silver Economy Legal Services Centre, delivered a comprehensive report on the Centre’s achievements since its establishment. His presentation reviewed progress in team buildingservice development, and case implementation, demonstrating the Centre’s steady growth and practical accomplishments in the field of Silver Economy legal services.

Subsequently, Ms. Zhang Yu, Deputy Director of the Centre, provided a detailed introduction to two newly developed legal service products — “Safeguarding the Silver Economy” and “Empowering the Golden Years through Law.” She elaborated on their service contentapplicable scenarios, and core advantages, setting out a clear roadmap for the standardisation and productisation of Liuhe’s future Silver Economy legal services.

Experience Sharing and Practical Insights

During the experience-sharing session, Advisors Ms. Li Jing and Ms. Zhou Dan drew upon their professional and industry experience to discuss strategies for expanding the Silver Economy legal practice and enhancing multi-sector collaboration.

Frontline lawyers Mr. Chen GanMr. Niu YulongMs. Pan Meidan, and Ms. Zhou Yinzi shared their hands-on insights from client engagement, case handling, and legal outreach initiatives — providing valuable practical reference for the wider team.

Interactive Discussion and Forward Planning

In the interactive discussion, participants explored key challenges in developing Silver Economy legal services, such as identifying the legal needs of older adults and enhancing the visibility of legal service products. They also analysed the opportunities arising from demographic and policy trends, proposing innovative and practical solutions to further refine and promote this growing area of practice. The discussion was dynamic and constructive, reflecting strong engagement and shared purpose across the team.

This meeting effectively reviewed Liuhe’s current progress in the Silver Economy legal services sector and outlined clear priorities for the next stage of development.
